We recently spent a week in Vernon, BC, working on family affairs. Didn't have much time to come up for air, but one afternoon we took a hike up Middleton Mountain and looked down at the view of the town. It looks so different from above!

Not warm enough to swim, but still pretty nice. Waiting for leaves to turn fully. This area summer and winter tourist destination, with lots of lakes and Silver Star Mountain for skiing.
